Pfizer on the verge of settling huge law suit in Nigeria

Pfizer to settle multi billion dollar law suit in Nigeria Pfizer inc,the global pharmaceutical company has indicated interest to settle out of court, its law suit with a Nigerian State Government. In 1996 it was alleged that Pfizer illegally conducted drugs test for its meningitis-drug Trovan on about 100 children, resulting in deaths, brain damage, paralysis and slurred speech in several children . Though the company has not denied or confirmed this rumoured out of court settlement, but indications point to the possibility that the company has already agreed to take this course . The Lawyer representing pfizer is rumoured to have disclosed that the company may agree top the sum of $75 million.This is a far sum from the $2 billion that the state government is suing for.

Yes its true that blogging id an online diary but unlike that diary tucked under your bed or locked securely in your drawer,blogs are public.The whole word sees them.

So it will be very posssible that you may blog and be guilty of libel just by bloggin.Legal consequnces of blogging though is not restricted to libel it can go as far aas copyright violation and others.I will educate you more once am back.
